Bernardo has more than 40 years of experience in the financial market, having led renowned national and foreign financial institutions throughout his career. Before founding One Partners, he was CEO for Latin America at Deutsche Bank and Chief Country Officer for Brazil. Prior to that experience, he was president of Banco Bradesco BBI and JSI Investimentos, the Safra family's family office. In addition, Bernardo was President of Merrill Lynch in Brazil for over 10 years and began his career at Citibank, where he worked for 7 years. Bernardo has a degree in Business and Administration from Fundação Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and in Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), with a post-graduate degree in Economics and Finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
With more than 12 years of experience in Investment Banking and having been part of the team since One Partners was founded in 2016, Luis has participated in several mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, debt and equity issues throughout his career. Before joining One Partners, he worked for 5 years in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in São Paulo. Luis has a degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP.
Pedro Stevaux has over 18 years of experience in Investment Banking and is responsible for originating and executing transactions at One Partners. Prior to joining One Partners, Pedro was a partner at STS GAEA, responsible for the Private Equity area, where he advised Samambaia FIA on the acquisition of 20% of Light S.A. in partnership with LTS Investimentos, having previously advised Grupo Libra on the sale of assets and negotiation for the restructuring of its debt. He was previously with Lazard and Deutsche Bank, where he executed major M&A and debt restructuring transactions. Pedro has a degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP.
Renato Polizzi has over 25 years of experience in Investment Banking. He began his career in Investment Banking in 1999, at UBS, with a focus on Latam transactions, where he remained for 6 years executing mainly IPOs and follow-ons. He joined Itaú BBA in 2005 and remained there until 2011, covering the healthcare, logistics/transportation, oil & gas, real estate and infrastructure sectors, and participated in 29 IPOs and stock offerings, as well as several M&A transactions. From 2011 to 2015, he was Managing Director of Investment Banking at Citi in Brazil, where he covered the oil & gas, infrastructure and industrials sectors, and was responsible for the origination and coordination of several M&A and capital markets transactions. He was partner and head of Investment Banking at Banco Modal from 2015 to 2020, where he organised the division's hedging strategy, originating and executing M&A transactions, and created the bank's DCM department in 2019. Renato graduated in Public Administration from FGV-EAESP as #1 of the class of 1998.
Alex Coube has over 10 years of experience in Investment Banking and is responsible for originating and executing M&A transactions at One Partners. In addition to One Partners, Alex served as Director of Strategic Finance at Open Co, leading the M&A, structured debt and IR. He also worked in Debt Capital Markets at BTG Pactual and in Investment Bank at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Throughout his career, he has advised on over R$15 billion in M&A and debt transactions. Alex graduated in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP.
